Kanye West lashes out at Adidas and Jerry Lorenzo on Instagram, accusing them of copying his work and proclaiming ‘YEEZY over everything’ while promising to revolutionise the industry.

New year, same Kanye West. The artist shows no signs of holding back when it comes to expressing his opinions, and this time is no different. Through Instagram, Ye has once again lashed out at Adidas, also involving designer Jerry Lorenzo, the creator of Fear of God.

In an extensive post, Ye accused both parties of burying his YEEZY site in Google search results. Addressing the German brand, he wrote: “You’re a $60 billion company that froze my accounts. Now I’m back on my feet (no pun intended), and I’m not going to stand for it. I did phenomenal work for you, and because I stood up for myself, you tried to intimidate and oppress me.”

Ye also criticised Lorenzo for partnering with Adidas after his own controversial relationship with the brand. He called Lorenzo ‘corny and disloyal’ and accused him of outright copying, stating: “I still showed up to his show, which was a copy of my Hollywood Bowl event, being the ‘bigger man,’ but I won’t do that again.”

In his post, Ye declared: “YEEZY over everything.” He criticised those who used him to promote their own clothing lines and announced that he would no longer serve as a platform for anyone else. Ye also revealed that he has been working on ten new footwear designs over the past two years, vowing to revolutionise the industry.
