Adidas Originals is redefining its direction. In its spring campaign, titled ‘The Original’, the iconic Adidas sub-brand not only pays homage to its legacy but also aims to inspire fans to embrace their individuality.
The campaign focuses on the Firebird jacket and three footwear models that have shaped the brand’s history: Superstar II, Handball Spezial, and Samba OG. According to Annie Barrett, Vice President of Marketing for Adidas Originals, this initiative seeks to communicate the essence of the line, which, while rooted in sport, has been embraced by urban culture.


Director Thibaut Grevet has brought this vision to life in a vibrant short film set to ‘Only You (And You Alone)’ by The Platters. His expertise in fashion and music has been key to capturing the campaign’s energy, staging a live rave where models express their authenticity through movement.
Additionally, Adidas Originals has launched A-Type, a premium collection marking a new chapter in its evolution. Through these initiatives, the brand strengthens its identity and promises continued innovation through 2026, preserving its legacy while exploring new frontiers in lifestyle and fashion.
