K-pop singer and BTS member, J-Hope, shares the spotlight with Louis Vuitton’s iconic Keepall bag.

In his first campaign for Louis Vuitton, K-pop singer J-Hope showcased his dancing skills while sporting the French luxury house’s iconic Keepall bag.

The campaign, set to launch today on Vuitton’s digital and social channels, features J-Hope effortlessly performing various moves, with “the bag seamlessly becoming an extension of his ever-changing form, according to the brand.”

In the campaign, the South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer, who is also the main dancer of the BTS boy band, dons monochromatic and elegant looks, placing the focus on his intricate choreography and the spacious weekend bag.

Designed in the 1930s, the Keepall has been a staple of Vuitton’s leather goods lineup and a coveted item for high-profile collaborations with artists such as Yayoi Kusama, Takashi Murakami, Supreme, and Stephen Sprouse.

J-Hope was named a Louis Vuitton ambassador in February last year. BTS was appointed as the brand’s ambassador in April 2021, a partnership that has since expired. With the band on hiatus, its members have been signing individual deals with fashion houses as they focus on solo projects and prepare to fulfill their mandatory military service.

Describing BTS as “21st-century pop icons,” the maison stated last year that J-Hope “brings his unique charm and style to this exciting new chapter with the maison.”

A new Disney+ documentary, “J-Hope in the Box,” showcases the behind-the-scenes of his solo debut album, “Jack in the Box,” and his headline performance at Lollapalooza last year.

The influence of K-pop stars has been steadily growing, with many European fashion brands inviting them to their shows, often causing chaos, or hiring them as ambassadors.
