J-Hope from BTS unveils ‘Hope on the Street’, an exciting album and docuseries exploring dance in various cities. Release date: March!

Amidst BTS‘s hiatus, the band members have been utilizing their time to focus on solo projects, even while enlisted in the South Korean army.

J-Hope is sharing an album and a documentary series he recorded before his enlistment. The dual project is called Hope on the Street and is inspired by tracing the roots of his artistic identity.

The documentary series is divided into six episodes, each showcasing the singer exploring a different city and interacting with the street dancers who inhabit it. J-Hope visits Osaka, Paris, and New York, as well as his home country, Seoul, and Gwangju.

Meanwhile, the Hope on the Street album also consists of six songs, suggesting that each track could represent a specific city, although all are described as centered on the overarching theme of “dance.”

In his announcement of Hope on the Street, J-Hope shared a compilation of his dances on YouTube. Perhaps he’ll join the street dancers in the upcoming series.

The album will debut on March 29th, while the first episode of the documentary series premieres on Prime Video on March 27th.
