Kim Kardashian responds to Tony Hinchcliffe’s jokes at Tom Brady’s roast, criticising his lack of originality and offensive tone.
Businesswoman and reality star Kim Kardashian did not stay silent after Tony Hinchcliffe’s remarks at Tom Brady’s Netflix roast. In a preview of the upcoming episode of ‘The Kardashians’, set to air on 13 February, the socialite harshly criticised the comedian for implying she is a “prostitute” with his jokes about her personal life.
In the clip, a friend of Kim describes the jokes as “unacceptable”, while she admits that, rather than being offended, she was more surprised by the lack of creativity. “It’s the easiest joke. They would have said it about anyone”, she remarked.
The experience was uncomfortable enough for the entrepreneur to rule out participating in a similar event. “Am I supposed to sit there and think, ‘How innovative, you called me a prostitute’?” she said sarcastically.
Although Kim Kardashian did not mention Tony Hinchcliffe by name, he was responsible for several jokes about her dating history, including a reference to the Black men she has dated and a sarcastic remark about her love life.
This episode reignites the debate on the boundaries of comedy and the impact of stereotypes in humour.
