The dress, specially crafted for the theme “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” is made from a devoré denim knit fabric adorned with thousands of sparkling micro crystals. Martens describes the creation as a piece that appears to have been asleep for centuries, with parts of the fabric dissolved around the contours of Minogue’s body.

This appearance marks a triumphant comeback for Minogue, who has been busy with her Las Vegas residency and other musical endeavors. Her presence at the Met Gala demonstrates her iconic status in both the fashion and music industries.
