Levi’s and Kiko Kostadinov are launching an innovative capsule collection that reinvents classic denim with cutting-edge, functional details.
Levi’s and designer Kiko Kostadinov have collaborated for the first time on an exclusive capsule collection that merges Levi’s iconic denim heritage with Kostadinov’s avant-garde approach. Initially unveiled at Paris Fashion Week, this collaboration offers a fresh take on Levi’s classics, standing out for its attention to unexpected details and futuristic vision.
The collection, set to launch globally on August 22, 2024, includes seven pieces spanning both menswear and womenswear. In the menswear line, Kostadinov reimagines the iconic 90s Engineered Jeans™, incorporating diamond-shaped inserts inspired by traditional Bulgarian motifs and strategically placed pleats at the knees and elbows, introducing a new visual and functional language.
On the other hand, the womenswear line, led by Laura and Deanna Fanning, explores a more tactile approach with loose-fitting jeans and denim jackets featuring plush textures and ochre tones. A standout piece is a denim jacket with exaggerated sleeves and an overlay vest that cinches the waist, reflecting the brand’s preference for layering and asymmetry.
The collection will be available at Levi’s stores, the Kiko Kostadinov store in Tokyo, and online platforms such as levi.com and kikokostadinov.com.
