Mugler has launched its first social program, offering scholarships to young music and dance talents facing financial difficulties in the U.S. and the U.K.
Mugler has introduced its first social initiative, the Mugler Creators Program, aimed at supporting young talents in contemporary music and dance who are experiencing financial hardship. This project marks a new step in the brand’s longstanding relationship with the performing arts, providing scholarships to 16 students selected for their talent and potential.
For its inaugural year, the program has donated €175,000 to institutions in the United States and the United Kingdom. In the U.K., Mugler has partnered with Trinity Laban and One Dance U.K., while in the U.S., it collaborates with Purchase College and its Conservatory of Dance. Professors from both institutions participated in the selection of the scholarship recipients.
This program reflects the brand’s legacy in the world of performance, cultivated over decades by its founder, Thierry Mugler, through collaborations with iconic artists such as Diana Ross, David Bowie, and more recently, Beyoncé.
“I am filled with pride and joy to offer young artists the opportunity to turn their dreams into reality,” said Danièle Lahana-Aidenbaum, Global President of Mugler Fashion and Fragrances.
Mugler plans to expand this program globally in the future, with the goal of empowering the next generation of artists and facilitating their access to the world of performing arts.
