Heartstopper’s lead, Joe Locke, has shared exciting insights into Marvel’s eagerly awaited series, “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries.”
This series promises to immerse us in the adventures of the witch Agatha Harkness, portrayed by Kathryn Hahn, last seen trapped in Westview after the events of “WandaVision” in 2021.
The cast is stellar, featuring names like Aubrey Plaza, Patti LuPone, David Payton, Asif Ali, and other talented actors. Even Emma Caulfield Ford from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” returns as Sarah Proctor/Dottie Jones, and Debra Jo Rupp from “That ’70s/’90s Show” as Sharon Davis.
Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have highly anticipated the series, and Joe Locke has added an air of mystery surrounding his role in the production.

In a recent interview, Joe Locke expressed excitement about the Marvel project and his character, describing it as a “very cool role” with which he deeply resonated. He also praised the uniqueness of “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries” within the superhero universe.

Although Marvel has yet to confirm Locke’s specific role, rumors suggest he may portray Wiccan, the iconic gay superhero and descendant of Scarlet Witch and Vision. However, Patti LuPone has sparked intrigue by stating that Locke will play a “well-known figure.”
“Agatha: Darkhold Diaries” was originally slated for a late 2023 release but is now scheduled for autumn 2024 as part of MCU Phase Five. Fans can’t wait to uncover the secrets this series will unveil in the ever-expanding Marvel universe.
